In September, 2018 Mr. Shay Herchovici, Betalin’s Head of Business Development, presented the revolutionary Engineered Micro Pancreas (EMP) solution to treat diabetes and Betalin Therapeutics was selected to take part in Health Hub Vienna Batch #2, a competitive Start-Up Accelerator platform for innovation in healthcare. The program includes mentors from pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, private and public insurance companies, healthcare suppliers and start-ups, all working together to develop new, holistic and patient-centric solutions. The Accelerator program is managed by INiTS, Vienna’s high-tech incubator with an over 15-year track record of successfully developing start-ups in the life sciences.
